The Research Center on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Advanced (ABMB) focuses its action on the following areas:

• identification and validation of new protein biomarkers for predictive and preventive medicine

• generation, banking and characterization of induced pluripotent stem cell lines for the study of hereditary diseases/family members of the cardiovascular and nervous system

• iron, oxidative stress and cellular homeostasis.
